Aimhigher Northamptonshire is offering 30 students at various school throughout the area the chance of a two hour coaching session with Vicky Gallagher (ex England and Birmingham footballer). Vicky has been coaching for 5 years and specialises in Football Coaching (FA level 1 & 2 qualified). This activity is aimed at students in their first year of GCSE P.E OR their first year of A’Level (or equivalent) P.E. The whole 3 hour session will be based in school and is completely FREE (funded by Aimhigher Northamptonshire). The following dates are available- • Wednesday 22nd Feb 06 AM session • Tuesday 14th March 06 AM session • Monday 3rd May 06 AM session Vicky can adapt each session to specific curriculum requirements for example- Sports specific exercises related to Personal Exercise Programme (PEP) and/or speed, agility and quickness related exercises. Or comparing football coaching styles (Dutch, Brazilian, English) linked to the A’level curriculum. Vicky regularly works in schools she is FACA insured, has a full CRB check and has been trained in child protection and equal opportunities. The school will be required to have 1 member of staff present for the session.
