This is the final stage of a new and exciting programme for Aimhigher and The University of Northampton after successfully securing funding from The East Midlands Excellence Hub.
As part of the programme students have already been to an initial Launch event where they attended workshops on revision skills and memory techniques, hosted by guest speakers from ‘Inspire.’ They then attended Advanced Workshops in either Social Science, Business or Applied Science to gain an in depth insight into a range of subjects on offer to them.
The Summer School was an opportunity to follow up this work and complete their 'student life experience'.
In typical student style this included more academic work but also allowed them the opportunity to experience a circus skills workshop, plenty of team games and an end of week, pirate themed party!
